Impregnated diamond core bits are mainly composed of diamond, steel body, cemented carbide powder and polycrystalline diamond. Polycrystalline diamond is used to avoid excessive wear of the drill bit. Impregnated diamonds are synthetic diamonds (also called synthetic diamonds), which are less expensive but more suitable for drilling hard formations.

Impregnated diamond core drill bits are usually used for drilling hard soil layers (hard formations or formations), and are very suitable for 5-10 grade formations and various abrasive formations to break and not break. In order to prevent excessive wear of the inner and outer diameters of the drill bit, cemented carbide inserts are placed on the side of each outer waterway, and larger diamonds are used in the inner and outer diameters.
