Design Requirements for Hydraulic Core Drilling Rig System

(1) The planning of the hydraulic actuator is reasonable. The hydraulic system of the drilling rig requires simple structure, small size, light weight, easy maintenance, and high standardization and generalization of hydraulic components.

(2) Appropriate control measures. In a hydraulic system, it is necessary to change the moving speed and direction of the actuator. For multiple elements, there are actions and interlock requests. In the lever conversion mechanism of the drilling rig, a certain automatic cycle should be realized, and various control methods should be carefully selected. Stroke control, pressure control and time control should be properly combined.

(3) The safety and reliability of the hydraulic core drilling rig system. In the design, it is necessary to take different measures for hydraulic circuits with different functions to ensure the safety and reliability of hydraulic circuits and systems. To avoid system overload, a safety valve should be installed. In order to prevent the lifting mechanism from automatically falling under its own weight and pressure loss, a balance circuit is required. There are hydraulic locks on the legs; the slewing mechanism should be equipped with buffers, speed limiters and brakes to ensure safety. In addition, mutual interference between loops should be avoided.

(4) Effective use of hydraulic power. Improving the efficiency of hydraulic systems not only saves energy, but also prevents the system from overheating. In the working cycle, when the required flow rate differs greatly, double pumps and variable pumps should be used to supply oil or accumulators should be added; when the system is in a state of maintaining pressure and stops working, the pump should be unloaded, etc.

(5) Avoid hydraulic shock. In the hydraulic system, due to the change of the movement speed of the working mechanism, the sudden disappearance of the working load, the impact load and other factors, hydraulic shock often occurs, which affects the normal operation of the system. Therefore, corresponding precautions should be taken when designing the system schematic.
